Hillary Clinton’s stunning defeat in the presidential
election has resulted in an oversupply of her signature wardrobe: the pantsuit.
Charitable organizations have been inundated
with the matching slacks and jacket.
“Our bins are full,” said United Way spokesperson Diane
Burmiser, “and we ask you to please hold off making further donations.”
Thousands rushed to buy the outfit in the run up to the
election, but now find themselves not particularly fond of the style.
One Hillary supporter deposited a pair of beige separates
and mumbled that the tapered ankle was extremely uncomfortable.
Another problem is the lack of global acceptance.
“No one wants to wear them,” Burmiser said, “they’ve been
turned away at borders from Liberia to Mozambique.”
Don’t let the pantsuit ban prevent you from donating other
gently used clothing.
Charities are still readily accepting popular items such as
blue jeans and Spanx.
